What’s more sweeter than a rose? Rosewater acts like an anti-inflammatory, and it can soothe irritated skin, rosewater also helps remove dirt and oils from skins. It often acts like a moisturizer because of the sugars in the petals! Overall rosewater is just the perfect combo for all skins!
Let’s get started: 1 rose 1 tablespoon of rosewater (you can either buy, which is kinda costly or learn to make your own here) 1 tablespoon of regular yogurt 1 tablespoon of honey
Steps: Peel the petals from the rose and wash the rose petals in water and let them soak in. Crush them into a bowl. Add rosewater, honey, and yogurt. Mix it and apply. Wait 5 minutes then rinse off. Pat dry.
I pay respect to all of you out there who have sensitive skin! But anyways, yogurt has lactic acid which helps exfoliates skin!
Let’s continue: 1 cup of natural yogurt and 1/2 cup of oatmeal.
Steps: Blend or mix the 2 ingredients together. Apply to skin for 10 minutes. Rinse off. Pat dry.
Maturing skin is probably the most important, and you want to pay close attention once you get around this stage. Sugar is a great exfoliant cause it removes dead skin cells without being harsh; drying!
Let’s get started: 2 tablespoons of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water
Steps: Melt the sugar in some warm water (undissolved cause it can cause tiny tears in the skin and allow moisture to leak in). Apply to face for 5 minutes and massage face well. Rinse well. Pat dry.
TIPS & TRICKS: For the more paste-y types of masks, try using a foundation brush to apply. Always remember to wash your face daily. Don’t use these masks EVERY day, your skin can get irritated. Be careful if you have allergies! Make sure to visit your dermatologist and always read thoroughly before doing anything!
